This collection of short stories by Dilys Rose is chiefly concerned with exploring the human spirit, through acute observation of human behaviour and detailed imagery.

About the Author

Dilys Rose was born in Glasgow in 1954. After graduating from Edinburgh University in 1974 with a degree in English Literature and Philosophy, she travelled widely before beginning to write in 1980. She has previously published two collections of poetry, three collections of short stories, and a novel, Pest Maiden. She now lives in Edinburgh with her family, where she works as a creative writing tutor and writer-in-residence at Edinburgh University.
