His extensive research has increased our knowledge and understanding and has brought us the first comprehensive, scientifically consistent theory of why we involved to dream. He is also co-author with Ivan Tyrrell of 'Human Givens: The new approach to emotional health and clear thinking and other subsequent titles in the Essential Health in Troubled Times series including 'Godhead: The brain's big bang' about the explosive origin of creativity, mysticism and mental illness. Reviews
"One of the most important scientific breakthroughs of the last hundred years' - Dr Farouk Okhai "Very convincing (theory). Much more acceptable than Freudian or Jungian notions. And Joe Griffin's interpretation of their dreams is entire reasonable." - Professor H.J. Eysenck (on reading the original hypothesis in 1991) "A wonderfully fresh and stimulating view of dreaming, evolution and human functioning ... it will deepen and widen every reader's perspective." Professor Arthur J. Deikman, University of California.
