ARTHUR SMITH (Brooklyn, New York) is an assistant curator at the Paley Center for Media in New York and a freelance writer. He fronts a retro rock outfit called Zombies of the Stratosphere, watches movies with his precocious son, and goofs around with his talented and beautiful wife in Brooklyn. He first encountered the work of David Lynch as a teenager, recovering from surgery on painkillers, which explains a lot.
