Description

The ultimate illustrated guide to being a witch in the Discworld universe - a must-have for any Terry Pratchett fan. "They say you don't find witchcraft, it finds you . . ." An illustrated and practical guide to being a witch in Discworld, covering everything you've ever wanted to know from telling the bees to magical cheese, from working with other witches to dealing with elves, from tending flocks to fending off forces from other worlds. This beautiful and practical guide has been compiled by Tiffany Aching herself, including snippets of remembered wisdom from Granny Aching alongside notes from Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, Miss Tick, and Rob Anybody who offer their own unique perspectives on all things witchcraft. Whether you're a herbologist or a headologist, this book will inspire and empower new witches and seasoned practitioners alike. With colourful illustrations from Paul Kidby throughout, this brilliant in-world guide is the perfect addition to any Discworld collection.

Rhianna Pratchett (Author)
Rhianna Pratchett grew up on the chalk of Wiltshire. She worked as a journalist before moving into the video games industry, becoming an award-winning writer on titles such as Heavenly Sword, Mirror's Edge, and Overlord, as well as the Tomb Raider reboot and its sequel. As well as having written for DC, Dark Horse and Marvel, she combined her love of novels and gaming by authoring the Fighting Fantasy novel Crystal of Storms. She also works as a screenwriter and producer for TV and film. Rhianna lives in London with her partner and ever-growing herd of cats.

Gabrielle Kent (Author)
Gabrielle Kent worked as a graphic artist on video games before becoming a senior lecturer in games development. Now a full-time author, her work includes Alfie Bloom - a series about a boy who inherits a castle and a whole load of magical problems, Knights and Bikes - a series based on the video game of the same name, and Rani Reports, featuring a girl who wants to be an investigative journalist and her adventures with her rambunctious Mauritian nani. Gabrielle lives in the North East of England with her husband, daughter and agoraphobic cat.

Paul Kidby (Illustrator)

One of the best online booksellers out there.

I always check Booksplease before looking at other online sellers because in many instances, particularly with older titles, their books are a lot cheaper. There is added postage, but when you add this to the overall cost you are still spending less than you would otherwise pay elsewhere.
