Kit is overjoyed when a moving truck arrives on her street. She's even more excited when a boy her age steps out. But Albert doesn't look as thrilled. He is sad, but he won't reveal why. After many attempts to cheer him up, Kit walks away defeated. That night, a wayward balloon with a note tied to its string taps her window. In the note, Kit finds a wish that Albert has written.
