Reviews
Both the high quality of the illustration and the way this has been presented make it an edition to treasure. A beautiful copy of a classic which would make a beautiful present this holiday season. * Book Murmuration *

Most, if not many, of us are all-too familiar with Kenneth Grahame's charming tale of the Wind In The Willows, and fondly remember the beautiful illustrations by E. H. Shepard, Charles Van Sandwyck and Arthur Rackham - depending on the copy of the book read to you by your parents, carers or Grandparents.

@templarbooks has published this classic tale once more, this time with the breathtakingly beautiful illustrations of Grahame Baker-Smith, and the result is utterly magical. This version of the story is in hard back, with a green cloth-bound cover and gold foil debossing, which makes the overall feel and appearance of the book even more special. As soon as you turn the pages you discover that the book is sprinkled with the most incredible illustrations throughout - some in sepia, others in colour and several in monochrome. The depth and the detail to Baker-Smith's art is astounding and, in turn, portrays the original tale in greater depth and detail than I had ever encountered as a child. My children were spellbound and utterly captivated by the beauty of a classic, which is sadly somewhat unusual nowadays, and this makes for a very special edition to gift to a young child as a keepsake.

What a wonderful gift to find under the Christmas tree this year - it will certainly add a special touch of magic to a young person's day. Beautiful ?

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
