Reviews
'A book that will be snapped up by fans of the playwright but will also have a ready market amongst academics, who are interested in the theatre and general readers who want to know more about one of our most singular theatrical practitioners.' British Theatre Guide - January 07 'A characteristically painstaking study of the playwright whose British reputation is likely to catch up very soon with the adulation he already receives in Europe.' The Stage - December 06 'Arguing that Crimp is one of the most acute satirists of contemporary British society, Aleks Sierz provides an accessible and fascinating account of the playwright's work.' WR Internet Bulletin (December 2006)
