About the AuthorVanessa Parson is Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Sunderland, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Vanessa has been a programme leader and personal academic tutor for many years and works on university-wide teaching and learning initiatives alongside teaching across a wide range of subjects at all levels, specialising in perception and attention, the psychology of learning, the psychology of belief, and cyberpsychology.
