Description

Ollie, Bea and Ula do everything together. They play in the waves, eat shellfish feasts and snuggle up together to sleep. But there comes a day in every otter's life when they must find a perfect rock. One shiny and strong enough to crack open shells for themselves. When they find the best rock of all, who will get to keep it? This picture book about sibling struggles and family love makes a cosy bedtime read that can help with difficult conversations about sharing. Sarah Noble's gorgeous illustrations bring the world of sea otters to life.

Three young otters learn about how to share on one momentous day in every otter's life: the day they pick their perfect pebble. A gorgeous animal picture book for families to read together.

About the Author
Sarah Noble is an American illustrator/author with a passion for colour, setting, and storytelling. She earned her Postgraduate degree in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art in the UK. Much of Sarah's inspiration is drawn from nature and wildlife, as evidenced by her debut picture book As Strong as the River, which has received praise for its beautiful illustrations and subtle prose.

Reviews
The Perfect Rock- with its incredible visuals and gentle, flowing story- is beautiful and perfect in every way. My own little family of otters absolutely loved this book. * David Litchfield, author of The Bear and The Piano *
A wonderfully vibrant and gripping Otter adventure, filled with an abundance of playful energy. -- Lucy Morris, author of The Song for Everyone
Rendered in loose strokes of blues, greens, violets, and pinks, lively illustrations capture the luminosity and fluidity of the sea as well as the playfulness of the sleek little otters in close-ups, vignettes, and double-page spreads, while the perfect rock proves an ideal metaphor for the strength, comfort, and love of family. * Kirkus Reviews *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
