Reviews
Not the confines of the film studio production floor, but the magic and lights of the auditorium, the electricity of red-carpet premieres - a rare inside account of a golden decade of film presentation in the cathedrals of film, the Odeon cinemas in Leicester Square. Not to be missed! Television Producer, Dominic Minghella; In the heart of London's West End sits Leicester Square, our equivalent of Hollywood, just as glamorous, just as many searchlights, just as many stars and snappers. But luckily, Felicity Fair Thompson had a ringside seat, working at the Odeon Leicester Square, and has put her memories down in print, with some evocative and dazzling photographs of those great nights. It is a labour of love and she gives us all a ringside seat. If you love the movies, you will relish this book over and over again." Michael Grade
