About the Author
Julia is the Course Director for the MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, which has launched the career of many children's authors. She has written more than sixteen books for children and young adults, which have been translated into several languages. Julia's favourite places are wild remote islands, beaches, cliffs, and hilltops. One day, maybe she'll live somewhere like that.
