Reviews
This is . . . the best, absolute best Milton anthology. --Cicero Bruce, McMurry University
Thinking that perhaps it was time after fifteen years of using the Hughes edition of Milton to use a newer edition in my graduate classes, I switched for one semester to the Riverside Milton. It took only one semester to realize that what students gained by way of more recent scholarship could not make up for what they had lost by being deprived of Hughes' introductions. I won't be switching again for a long time to come. --Noralyn Masselink, SUNY College at Cortland
