Reviews
'The first edition of this book was a quintessential introductory text on the history, science and practice of cognitive behavioural therapy. This second edition is even better - thoroughly updated, informed by the latest research and clinical applications and expertly illustrated with clinical examples. This is a trusted guide for therapists, counsellors, psychologists and health professionals in training.' Dr Gillian Todd is a CBT & CAT therapist in private practice, past senior lecturer and director of CBT at the University of East Anglia, and a trustee of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. Praise for the first edition: 'This small book has it all. It explains CBT perfectly, and also helps practitioners in knowing what to expect and how to do therapy, manage patients' expectations and help their patients achieve their goals. It also helps a lot with written assignments for whoever is doing any CBT, counselling or other therapy courses.' Online reviewer.
