Reviews
'This is a well documented reference book for anyone wishing to discover the current trends within the Pentecostal and Charismatic movements, both the New Charismatic and the Charismatic Renewal movements. Hocken's insights regarding the strengths and weakness of each group, along with his recommendations for further development and reconciliation are worth the read.' Pneuma '... provides a useful introduction to a subject that will be important for readers of religious history for many years.' The Expository Times 'Hocken provides a helpful historical and geographical map of the Pentecostal-charismatic family of movements, from their beginnings in the early twentieth century through to their extensive global presence in the twenty-first.'
