About the Author
Angie Lewin studied fine art at the Central School of Art and has since become a highly regarded painter, printmaker and designer. She is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of Painter- Printmakers. She has published two books, Angie Lewin: Plants and Places and The Book of Pebbles. Christopher Stocks is an author, journalist and trainee bellringer. His first book, Forgotten Fruits, a social history of British fruit and vegetables, became an unlikely success, with Monty Don choosing it as his favourite book of the year. He is the author of The Book of Pebbles.
