About the Author
Maxine Kaplan was born in Washington, DC. She and her twin sister spent their early childhoods trotting behind their journalist parents as they traveled around the world. When she hit the double digits, they settled in Brooklyn, NY, where she still lives today. She studied English and political science at Oberlin College and held a variety of positions in the publishing world before landing at her current job as a private investigator. The Accidental Bad Girl is her first novel.
