Reviews
Though Nafziger (a retired naval officer and military historian) has an evident affection for Napoleon, the entries of this dictionary are objective in tone as well as expansive in content. The subject headings include the expected political figures and events, but also feature writers, thinkers, and profiles of countries affected by the emperor's conquests. An introduction, chronology, and lengthy bibliography are included. * Book News, Inc. *
