About the Author
Kath Sharples is a Senior Lecturer in Adult nursing and Kingston University. As an experienced Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse Teacher, Kath has a comprehensive understanding of the current challenges and developments within nurse education. Her main area of pedagogic interest and research activity is related to self-regulated learning in practice. Kath's expertise is in developing and delivering innovative approaches to nurse education, with a special interest in developing the self-regulatory skills of student nurses undertaking their practice experiences.
