About the Author
Dr Parastou Donyai is Associate Professor of Social and Cognitive Pharmacy and Director of Pharmacy Practice at the Reading School of Pharmacy. A pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmacy, Dr Parastou Donyai also has a Degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Research Methods. Her research examines the psychology of medication usage and discontinuation and decision-making processes. Dan Grant is Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Education at Reading School of Pharmacy. A hospital pharmacist by background, Dan has wide ranging experience of supporting and developing learners in the workplace and in Higher Education, from pharmacy technicians and undergraduate pharmacy students, to pre-registration pharmacist trainees and pharmacists undertaking post-registration clinical training. Dr Nilesh Patel is Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the Reading School of Pharmacy. A pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmacy, Dr Nilesh Patel has worked across several disciplines within Pharmacy giving him a unique overview of science into practice. His research encompasses clinical pharmaceutics, which is the application of science into practice and vice versa.
