When a Cook for Good team member shared a flask of homemade soup with a volunteer at their community Pantry in King’s Cross, it was the start of something special. Before long, the team had established a weekly soup café, and fuelled an obsession with soup that spread across the whole community.
Soup for Good shares our community’s favourite recipes and tells the stories of some of its much-loved characters. It includes soups donated by our food-loving supporters, including Nigella, Ed Balls, Karan Gokani, and Gordon Brown, and by the food businesses who have helped us on our way.
Soup for Good is a celebration of soup and community, and the perfect expression of the power of cooking to change lives and bring people together.
