About the Author
Kevin Crossley-Holland is a distinguished teller of tales. He is also a poet, translator, broadcaster, and writer for children, and is winner of the Carnegie Medal and the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize. He specializes in myth, legend, and folk-tales, especially from the Anglo-Saxon period and from East Anglia. He has four children, and lives in Norfolk.
