About the Author
Alex Grant is a writer, researcher and lecturer specialising in politics, biography and modern history. He has worked as a journalist in the United States and Britain, in Parliament and was a Labour councillor in the London borough of Greenwich for sixteen years. He has lectured at City Lit, the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment at University College London and at the University of Sheffield. He has written for The Times and The Guardian and was the principal researcher on Court No.1 The Old Bailey. Alex lives in Northamptonshire with his partner and daughter.
