Reviews
A fascinating, thought-provoking book that more than fulfils its aim to promote debate and to encourage reflection on the purpose and ethos of schools in what is an increasingly complex global environment. * Patrick Derham, Former Head Master of Westminster School @PatrickDerham *
Authoritative, inspiring and pragmatic, Schools of Thought lays out the case and the plan for creating a clear and unique vision for your school. You could jump on a plane and visit the exceptional leaders in some of the most pioneering schools. Or you could read this book and learn from their wins. * Ewan McIntosh, founder of NoTosh @notosh @ewanmcintosh *
Schools of Thought has managed to capture an amazingly rich 'eco-system' of diverse and successful schools; it got me reflecting and challenged my thinking about what makes a 'good school' from cover to cover! * Patrick Ottley-O'Connor, Executive Principal of North Liverpool Academy & the Northern Schools Trust @ottleyoconnor *
The future of education will never be one size fits all, nor should it be. Schools of Thought is a wonderful dissection of different educational philosophies, stewarded by two great pedagogical voices in Jane and David. A must read for anyone involved in education. * Simon Noakes, founder and CEO of Interactive Schools *
This is a fantastically well-presented book, offering detailed insights... What separates this book from so many others is that there is no waffle. * Sam Strickland, SchoolsWeek *
