Description

Daily Mindful Minutes are Necessary for StillnessDavid Kundtz offers readers mindful minutes through the power of stillness. In the haste of everyday life, Quiet Mind offers us an extension of time by allotting us moments of healing and self introspection.

Find yourself in the spaces between yourself and life. The miracle of mindfulness is a welcome respite for anyone who lives a life that feels nonstop. Connect with your inner self by pausing your thoughts, banishing your self-doubt, and embracing a daily practice of observing a moment of silence.

Welcome yourself to a quiet mind. Quiet Mind is an invitation to rest, find peace, awaken, and remember. You will find guidance on using the moments between activities, which the author calls "still points," as opportunities to focus on becoming more fully awake to who you are at any time, even during one, sacred mindful minute.

Inside this mindful moment book, you'll find:

  • Ways to cultivate a positive mindset to remain open to infinite possibilities of spiritual growth
  • A series of reflections that can assist you with unwinding anxiety blocking your path to spiritual connection
  • Insight that stems from spirituality and the psychology of introspection

If you like how to "be mindful" books like Return to You, Breath, or Each Day a Renewed Beginning, you'll love Quiet Mind.

Reviews

"Delightful teachings that embolden us to find essential refuge and nourishment in the fabric of our daily lives."
-Wayne Muller, author of How, Then, Shall We Live?

"David Kundtz has written a gem-the rare book that illustrates the mystical possibilities of our lives."
-Steven Harrison, author of Doing Nothing and Getting to Where You Are

"...a thought-provoking reminder of the beauty that surrounds us if we will slow down long enough to pay attention."
-Sam Horn, author of Tongue Fu! and ConZentrate

"David Kundtz's lessons are quiet and kind. I've been working as a therapist and a creativity coach to creative and performing artists and other creatives for more than thirty-five years. Working with them has caused me to come to many of the same conclusions that the author shares here, about the value of pausing, about doing a certain sort of nothing, about the power of gazing out the window, about what mindfulness in the middle of a real life can mean and might look like."
-Eric Maisel, PhD, author of Redesign Your Mind and Why Smart People Hurt

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
