About the Author

Gildas Java is a French illustrator and comic artist born in 1975 in Fougeres, Brittany. Trained in applied arts and fine arts, he has worked in both publishing and visual communication. Based in Brest since 2007, he is known for his dynamic, expressive style and has contributed to various comics, magazines, and public art projects across Brittany. Yvonnick Denoel is a French historian, publisher, and intelligence specialist who has written extensively on espionage and intelligence services, including the CIA, Mossad, and the Vatican. His works, such as Le Livre noir de la CIA, Les guerres secretes du Mossad, and Les espions du Vatican, delve into the intricacies of global intelligence operations. In 2024, he co-authored the graphic novel Putin's Fortune with illustrator Gildas Java, providing a detailed investigation into Vladimir Putin's rise to power and the accumulation of his wealth.
