Mr. Faulkner's masterpiece is recognized as the most important challenge to agricultural orthodoxy that has been advanced in this century. Edward H. Faulkner lived in Elyria, Ohio. He was a county agent in Kentucky and Ohio, a Smith-Hughes teacher of agriculture, and a soil and crop investigator. He wrote several other books, including Plowman's Folly andits follow-up volume, A Second Look.
