Description

** NEW COVER & INTRODUCTION BASED ON EXCLUSIVE PEP GUARDIOLA INTERVIEW ON THE 2022-23 TREBLE ** Over his first three seasons in England, Pep Guardiola built something the Premier League had never seen before: a team that dominated games like no other, scoring goals and collecting points and trophies at record-breaking pace. Throughout that journey, the Spanish journalists Lu Martin and Pol Ballus were embedded with the club, reporting this inside account of how a phenomenal team was constructed: from the recruitment of Guardiola himself, to the backroom staff that provide the platform for his team and the superstar players that set a new standard in British football

About the Author
Pol Ballus is a Spanish sportswriter who moved to Manchester shortly before Pep Guardiola landed in the Premier League, with a brief to cover the growing number of Spanish players in England. He has since developed close ties with the players and staff at City and now writes for The Athletic. Luis Martin is a legendary Spanish journalist who has written on La Liga and the national team since the 1980s. He worked with Pep Guardiola on the 2001 book La Meva Gent, El Meu Futbol (My People, My Football). He has lived in Manchester and Barcelona during Guardiola's time in England.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
