Dr Tom Wilkinson is History Editor of the Architectural Review and Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the Warburg Institute. He is the author of Bricks and Mortals: Ten Great Buildings and the People They Made, which was longlisted for the Guardian First Book Award and was translated into five languages.
