About the Author
Jon Cloake taught History for 35 years to students aged 11-18. He has 33 years examining experience, 25 years of which have been at a senior level for GCSE and A-Level. As a senior examiner he has been involved in curriculum development, as well as setting and assessment of examination papers. He was Head of Humanities and an Assistant Principal in a large local authority school. Jon has written a number of GCSE and A-Level textbooks during his career. Aaron Wilkes is the Series Editor for Oxford AQA GCSE History. He is now one of the leading history authors in school publishing, as well as being Head of History at Castle High School, Dudley. His time at Castle High has given him the experience of six Ofsted inspections and taking two form classes up to Year 11. It is this experience that gives him a good bank of knowledge and first-hand practical experience to draw on.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
