Reviews
This book is astonishingly good. I haven't had this much fun with a poetry collection since...well, maybe ever. If you like funny poems for kids, I promise you're going to love this book. -- Kenn Nesbitt, US Children's Poet Laureate
...the writing is literate and clever and a fine example of how to encourage children to enjoy and particiapate in word play. * poetryzone.co.uk *
A playful delight and curiosity about language shines through the poems in this collection. The foot tapping rhythms and strong rhyming patterns make the verses fun to read aloud and very memorable. Children will enjoy sharing and returning to them as well. * Books for Keeps magazine *
These poems are great fun - you are reading along thinking you know how they will end and then - WHAM - you are hit with a surprise ending. I love this unexpectedness and it had me reading every poem wondering what the poet would come up with. -- Sarah Brew * Parents in Touch *
