Reviews
a devastating picture of perinatal depression * Independent *
a bracing experience ... a bold work that focuses in a new way on the act of birth and the mad months that follow it * Evening Standard *
Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's play Mum is a courageously feverish creation that explores the darker side of motherhood. Difficult to watch at times, and brutal in its realism, it makes for a deeply affecting 60 minutes. * The Stage *
This play daringly switches tone as it follows three mothers and explores exhaustion, panic and feelings of inadequacy. Though only 60 minutes, the play is, dramatically and sociologically, a power hour. * Guardian *
