For any organisation to be successful in an increasingly competitive and global working environment, it is essential that there is a clear understanding of all aspects of the business. Given that no two organisations are exactly alike, there is no definitive understanding of exactly what these aspects are as they will depend on the organisation's nature, size and so on. About the Author
Dr Jon Holt is Global Head of Systems Engineering for Atego. He is a Fellow of both the IET and the BCS and is recognised as a thought leader in the world of systems modelling. He is the author of several books and is an international award-winning public speaker. Simon Perry is a Principal Consultant with Atego. He has over 20 years experience working as a systems architect, software engineer and systems modeller in a wide range of business areas. He is a Member of the IET and the BCS, a public speaker and co-author, with Jon Holt, of a book on SysML.
