Description

The murderer had sliced open the dead man's torso and removed unspecified internal organs. The police admitted that some kind of religious symbol had been left at the scene of the crime, suggesting a ritual act of slaughter . . .

When a serial killer strikes, a homeless woman finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, framed for horrifying murders that she didn't commit. On the run and living by her wits, can she avoid capture long enough to prove her innocence?

Missing is a gripping race against the clock, and an examination of the hidden lives of those who choose to live on the outskirts of society.

A timely reissue of CWA-shortlisted Karin Alvtegen's acclaimed psychological thriller

A compelling tale...full of false leads and bloody deeds. * * Sunday Herald * *
Alvtegen's chilling novels are head and shoulders above the rest of the Scandi crew. * * Daily Mail * *

A genuine hit . . . a brilliant novel. -- Gefle Dagblad, Sweden
A very powerful novel. Skilfully, very intimately and realistically, Alvtegen describes an individual living outside the margins. -- Helsingborgs Dagblad

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
