About the Author
Dr. Bhagwan Narayan Rekadwad received a PhD in 2014 for his research on "the prokaryotic diversity of hot springs". After finishing his PDF (postdoc) at DBT-NCCS in Pune, he became an Assistant Professor at Savitribai Phule Pune University, known as "the Oxford of the East". Later on, he joined the Yenepoya Research Center in Mangalore (Karnataka, India) and currently serves as an Associate Professor. He was three times listed on the AD World Scientific Ranking in 2022, 2023, and 2024, respectively. He is an expert in Genome based Microbial Systematics, Evolutionary Microbiology, Sequencing, and Bioinformatics.
