About the Author
Huw has spent over 30 years undertaking long journeys by human-powered means in wild places across the world. He has numerous awards to his name including the Australian Geographic Spirit of Adventure Award and was named as one of Time Magazine's 25 Worldwide Responsibility Pioneers. Huw is also an ambassador for Save the Children Australia and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He is a regular contributor to a range of publications on adventure and travel topics and runs adventure company Wild Horizons (www.wildhorizons.com.au). More information on www.huwkingston.com
