Using carefully chosen words in relatable settings from the world around them, this book creates a moment for children and adults to discover first shapes words while making cookies. The engaging art style, fun characters and hardback picture book feel make this series accessible and perfect to share. Written and illustrated by the same winning team as 'Big Words for Little People', this series is special not only because it focuses on maths in a child-friendly way, but also because it's from Oxford, it's packed with educational goodness that helps children develop and grow.

Reviews
"You can count on Oxford University Press to make learning fun with this brilliant series of books which makes maths both friendly and inspirational. Published in sturdy hardback, packed with fun characters, engaging questions, and activities, and Trapanese's playful artwork, the books are the perfect size and shape for sharing and reading together whilst exploring and enjoying the different concepts of maths." * Pam Norfolk, The Lancashire Post *
"Visually attractive, with fun characters and written in an engaging manner, these little books are ideal for one to one sharing at home and should help young children be more mathematically assured in a nursery or other early years setting." * Jill Bennett, Red Reading Hub *
"Presented in a lovely, durable, square hardback format, it begins by sharing the fact that shapes are everywhere, inviting little ones to notice shapes for themselves. Concepts like straight, flat, 2D, 3D, curved, tessellated, and sequences are clearly explained and demonstrated in a relatable style, with Cristina Trapanese's characterful, child-centred illustrations making it a joy to explore shapes together." * Joanne Owen, LoveReading4Kids *

Great experience and I have zero concerns. They communicated through the shipping process and if there was any hiccups in it, they let me know. Books arrived in perfect condition as well as being fairly priced. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely shop here again!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
