Description

Guided by the fact that humans are much more driven by their emotions than their intellect, this perceptive, practical and enlightened book, written by a widely experienced and research-informed teacher, gives readers insights and know-how for improved personal emotional management. Such practical emotional savvy can benefit every aspect of life, including intellectual performance and key personal relationships. Written from a deep educational concern for holistic models and solutions, the text takes much of the mystique out of "emotional intelligence", grounding it to enable readers to "get a life". Central to it are the age-old "golden rule" wisdoms, which are not innate at birth but must be learned and handed on by experience. It offers challenging and practical solutions that require responses in lifestyle and outlook. Then our collective democratic consciousness may awaken to the massive evolutionary risks that we face unless we "mind" our emotions.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
