Description

Women's health is increasingly recognized as a global health priority. With the expanding elderly female population, the long-term complications of ageing and oestrogen deficiency present an enormous problem in terms of morbidity, mortality and economic burden. Thus, managing postreproductive health is becoming a key issue for all health professionals, not just gynaecologists.

This 5th edition is widely considered to be the international template for menopause management. Written by experts in the field, this book aims to provide a balanced view of the various treatment options, both oestrogen- and non-oestrogen-based. It provides a practical, unbiased and non-promotional resource on menopausal and postmenopausal health, and is essential reading for all gynaecologists, GPs, physicians, nurses and allied health professionals around the world.

Reviews

This is the 5th edition of an exceptionally helpful handbook, extensively revised and expanded since the 4th edition was published in 2006. All five authors are internationally renowned both for their knowledge of the complex subject matter and also for their presentational skills in explaining the issues in clear, unambiguous terms. This is an invaluable guide, to be kept close at hand in the consulting room.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
