About the Author
Caroline Coughlin was Director of Drew University Library from 1986-1994 and is currently involved in library education in the United States and abroad. Alice Gertzog teaches English at Allegheny College. She has been a library director and authored books and articles on librarianship, including Administration of the Public Library (Scarecrow, 1994) and Casebook in College Library Administration (Scarecrow, 1992).
