Description

Lonely Planet: The world's leading travel guide publisher Get more from your trip with easy-to-find phrases for every travel situation. One of the most rewarding things about travelling through Eastern Europe is the rich variety of cuisine, customs, architecture and history. The flipside of course is that you'll encounter a number of very different languages. Most languages spoken in Eastern Europe belong to what's known as the Indo-European language family, believed to have originally developed from one language spoken thousands of years ago. Luckily for English speakers, most of these languages also use Roman script. Never get stuck for words with our quick reference dictionary for each language Order the right meal with our menu decoders Use our carefully selected words and phrases to get around with ease Coverage Includes: Albanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Macedonian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovene. Lonely Planet gets you to the heart of a place. Our job is to make amazing travel experiences happen. We visit the places we write about each and every edition. We never take freebies for positive coverage, so you can always rely on us to tell it like it is. Authors: Written and researched by Lonely Planet Anila Mayhew, Ronelle Alexander, Anamaria Beligan, Piotr Czajkowski, Gordana Ivetac, Ivan Ivetac, James Jenkin, Dana Lovinesku, Christina Mayer, Liljana Mitkovska, Richard Nebesky, Katarina Nodrovicziova, Urska Pajer, and Grant Taylor. Will definitely use again!

Great experience and I have zero concerns. They communicated through the shipping process and if there was any hiccups in it, they let me know. Books arrived in perfect condition as well as being fairly priced. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely shop here again!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
