About the Author
Sarah Cornelius is Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Aberdeen, UK. She has over twenty years' experience in distance and online learning in higher and further education. Carole Gordon is Emeritus Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Aberdeen, UK. For the past ten years, her teaching has included facilitating distance and online learning and in particular the development of live online learning as part of the CPD requirement for staff teaching in further education colleges. Jan Schyma is a Teaching Fellow in the School of Education at the University of Aberdeen, UK. She has experience of developing and delivering open learning courses and has written courses for commercial organisations, colleges, universities, the voluntary sector and the NHS.
