She has been teaching in law for the past 17 years, having previously held posts at Hong Kong University and the University of Bristol, teaching land, equity and trusts and company law. She is also a qualified solicitor. She has authored two books on land law in Hong Kong, one of which was the first textbook on Hong Kong land law.
