Reviews
Praise for John: "It is quite splendid. As a wise teacher who understands and sympathizes with his students, Professor Lindars recognises the shock which many readers experience when they are faced with the historical and theological problems in what is often their favourite gospel. There is a clarity of expression and depth of insight, reference to the views of other scholars with a presentation of his own understanding of the book. The bibliographies have helpful annotations."-- Expository Times * Expository Times *
