About the Author

Dave Palmer was born at St Stevens hospital, London in 1964 to inept and criminally motivated parents. Poverty and crime were a constant weight on the shoulders of the family and the young and impressionable boy. Dave's life was apparently mapped out for him wasn't it? By his early teens numerous incarcerations to her majesty's institutions for petty crime and violence followed until one particular prison stint in the early nineties, when he was in his thirty's, would turn his life around. A chance meeting with a well known but much older north London gangster who knew Dave's family, would have a profound affect on him and steer him towards education and rehabilitation, he became his mentor and encouraged him to take a different path, which led to a degree and a twenty five year career in construction as a project manager.

Dave's talent for writing started while incarcerated where he mostly wrote for other prisoners. It would become the basis for a writing career that is flourishing. His background in the seedy underworld gives an authenticity to these works of fiction that other authors can only dream of. Dave is committed to creating and nurturing the wonderful characters that currently occupy his mind and his hope is that readers can delve into a world of crime fiction that brings them some joy and escapism.
