About the Author
Haim Abramovich received his B.Sc. in 1975 and his M.Sc. in 1978 at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He became a research fellow at the Aerospace Department at Delft University (The Netherlands) and graduated in 1983 at the Technion in Israel. He worked at the Fuse Department, Telkoor Electronics Ltd., and as a guest professor at the "Institut fur Leichtbau und Seilbahntechnik" at the ETH Zurich (Switzerland). Since 1990 he is professor at the Technion in Israel, where he teaches a course on "Intelligent Structures" for undergraduate and graduate students.
