Maggie Walter (PhD; FASSA) is Palawa and Distinguished Professor of Sociology (Emerita) at the University of Tasmania. Chris Andersen is Metis, from the parkland region of Saskatchewan. He is the dean of the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta. Tahu Kukutai (Ngati Tiipa, Ngati Mahanga, Ngati Kinohaku, Te Aupouri) is Professor of Demography at Te Ngira Institute for Population Research, The University of Waikato, Aotearoa New Zealand. Chelsea Gabel is Metis from Rivers, Manitoba and a citizen of the Manitoba Metis Federation. She is an Associate Professor in the Indigenous Studies Department and the Department of Health, Aging and Society at McMaster University.
