Subtitled 'A Forest of Paper-Pieced Quilts' this book offers 12 patterns for fabulous quilt blocks that make one sampler quilt. One of the patterns is an historic 1938 block. Of course, you can then play around with the blocks and make more quilts, samplers or use just one pattern block or a mix of two and so on. The possibilities are numerous. Six more examples are shown in the book. The instructions are crystal-clear with all the blocks you need to make the cover quilt, a clear photo and size of the finished quilt, fabric requirements, detailed making and finishing instructions. Templates are also given. It's time to go down to the woods today.
