About the Author
Dr Emma Short is a Consultant NHS doctor, specialising in histopathology. She studied pre-clinical medicine at Cambridge University and clinical medicine at Oxford University. She completed her basic surgical training in Devon, before moving to Wales for her pathology training. Emma also has a PhD from Cardiff University in cancer genetics. She also writes blogs on running.
