With a mixture of advertisements, snippets of news and photographs he brings the reader back to remember those years gone by in Holywood. Although Holywood's development and population has expanded over the years its shops and businesses have continued to exist mainly in the same areas. The structures of many shops have mostly remained the same but the types of businesses have changed, what was once a sweet shop may now be a cafe.
