About the Author

Ernest Cross has walked the Cairngorm hills for many years, at all times of the year. He has guided parties, walked alone, slept out on the hills, and watched the slow march of the seasons. Not only does he have an intimate knowledge of what he describes, but he loves it all deeply, and this shows.

Found a hard to get book…
